Conneaut Township Park boasts the most beautiful views of Lake Erie and Conneaut’s Harbor, as well as the iconic Lighthouse. It is the spot on Lake Erie for enjoying all types of sports, water activities, picnicking, and communing with nature for people of all ages. The Board of Park Commissioners welcomes all to come and visit Conneaut and our beautiful Township Park.
In 1926 Conneaut Township’s forefathers had amazing foresight and vision to create a park for the townspeople to enjoy. At that time, the park was raw and natural.
The forefathers achieved their vision by selling bonds and raising the necessary money to purchase the land for approx. $61,000.00. Since then, tax levies passed by the citizens of Conneaut help to maintain and continually improve upon the original vision. Conneaut Township Park is now a garden spot with the most beautiful views. It is truly Conneaut’s Diamond on the Lake.
The nearly 60-acre Conneaut Township Park is north of State Route 531 (Lake Road) from the Chestnut Street intersection east to Lake Bluff Way.
